In Kenya’s ASAL regions, we fuse sustainability, digital access, and practical life skills to unlock opportunities—especially for youth and girls who are most affected by climate, poverty, and inequality. Every student we empower is a future innovator, farmer, entrepreneur, or climate leader.

What We’re Doing
Education is the third step in our journey of resilience—following Water & Food Security and Health & Improved Quality of Life. Once clean water flows and children are healthy, learning can begin in earnest.
But challenges remain.
1 in 10 girls in ASAL areas misses school during menstruation due to lack of sanitation. Thousands of children walk long distances for water each day—missing out on learning entirely.
Our interventions support girls, youth, and entire ASAL communities with tools to learn, grow, and lead. From menstrual dignity to digital access and school gardens, we’re building inclusive systems where learning fuels lasting resilience.
