In Kenya’s ASAL regions, unpredictable rainfall and degraded land leave many families locked in fragile, single-source livelihoods—often farming alone. Droughts wipe out income. Youth migrate in search of opportunity. Women remain unpaid caregivers, despite managing farms, food, and families.

We center women and youth, ensuring every household can generate sustainable income, adapt to change, and invest in their future.
